Data Protection & Disaster Recovery
Each year our businesses and personal lives depend more and more on technology to store critical company data, sensitive customer information, treasured family
photos, music and a myriad of other important documents and files. Improperly protected data is also susceptible to one of today's most widespread cyber crimes - Identity Theft. In addition, many businesses require data to be handled and stored properly in order to maintain compliance with today's strict regulatory standards. Is your business in compliance? Is your customer's data safe?
In the event of a natural disaster, fire, computer crash or virus attack how will your data be protected? Most computer users never give much thought to data protection, however a simple hard disk crash could make years of critical data vanish in the blink of an eye! How will you recover your business or your personal data?
Possible threats to your data:

- Viruses, spyware &
hackers

If your data is vital to your business or personal life, to see how Midland Computers can evaluate your requirements and develop a solution that will guarantee your data is always safe and available.
DR Audits: Midland Computers have successfully consulted, planned and implemented full IT infrastructure DR audits with many clients. It is very important to realise that there will be real business downtime if any of the primary servers have a serious breakdown for example a main system board failure or a major virus outbreak. This downtime is hard to put into an exact timescale in terms of hours or days but a typical critical server issue can take between 2 and 4 days to get your system fully up and running again.
The purpose of the DR audits carried out by Midland Computers are generally to highlight the vulnerabilities in your IT infrastructure and to propose, with costings, technologies and solutions to reduce these to an absolute minimum or alternatively to a timesacale that you can work with.
Why not call to discuss your DR requirements?
